Vision

While I did not vote for President-elect Trump, there are some proposals he has made that show promise. One is rebuilding our roadway infrastructure. That would create jobs and keep drivers more safe while moving commerce. My question is "why not build them out of new technology that supports the planet and the new self driving vehicles?".

There are solar pavers. The roads could be built out of them. That would prepare the communities that the roadways serve for hooking their homes up to the new batteries that gather renewable energy, storing it, and administering it when needed. Tesla's new one stores enough energy for a day's energy use. That technology is only going to improve and offer longer storage. And it is affordable now by individual homeowners.

The solar pavers I've seen talked about are modular. They can be removed when damaged and replaced with a new section. No digging up and replacing whole sections of roadway for a pot hole. Pot holes are made less likely in general with their use. Utilities that are located under the roadways can be more easily accessed. Time and money would be the savings.

Snow removal would be a snap since the solar pavers are able to heat up during the winter. Again this would save time and money not to mention the lives of civil servants who man the salt and shovel trucks.

Instead of paint, the LED's in the components now display the lines in the road. Route alterations could be easily designated and shifted in real time. A great asset during evacuation and other emergency events.

When we remove the desperation from our society due to economic uncertainty by creating infrastructures that support the masses with the basic needs, violence due to desperation decreases. The necessity to compete for the basics no longer exists. People can raise their vibration out of the base chakra of security and into the next (second) chakra of creativity. We are poised to do this now.

So, I ask Mr. Donald Trump and the whole of Congress, will you make America better for our children's children? Can you be an Eisenhower who said, "Leadership is the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do it."? And can you do it for the good of the Nation and the good of the planet? Make us happy to support the next energy revolution. Yes, you will have to put in place segue models to allow those dependent on fossil fuel jobs a path to transition with dignity. New roads with vision (using renewable energy solutions) could be your legacy and a nation's gift, healing the divide and empowering the common citizen.
